Feedback from fellow supportive writers and keen readers will come if necessary (for example, I would have commented on the adult language switch even if you hadn't flagged it) and the intentions and nuances of your work will shine through in any well-written piece (this piece did a great job of taking us through Timmy's many complex emotions and the backstory of his day, as well as clearly stating his moral dilemma about stealing).
